Warranty and faults

Every BLINK comes with a 12-month warranty from the day it is delivered. If it stops working in that time through no fault of yours, we repair it or replace it, and we pay the postage both ways.

The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid, taking the case apart, or a device modified past the firmware we shipped on it. Flashing your own firmware is your business and we would rather you did - it just is not something we can then warrant.

Separately from the warranty Israeli law gives you rights against a product that does not match what was described or is not fit for its purpose, under the Sale Law, 5728-1968 and the Consumer Protection Law. Those rights are yours whether or not a warranty is running, and this page does not shorten them.

And if you are not in Israel Most countries give a buyer rights against faulty or misdescribed goods that run for longer than twelve months and cannot be signed away - two years across the European Union, for instance. Where the law where you live gives you more than this warranty does, that law applies. The twelve months above is what we promise on top of your rights, not a ceiling on them.

To claim, write to support@blink-buddy.com and describe what it is doing. One person reads that address and will answer you.

What we are, and are not, responsible for

We are responsible for the device: that it arrives, that it is what this site says it is, and that it works. The warranty above says for how long, and your rights under the Sale Law and the Consumer Protection Law sit on top of it and are not affected by anything here.

What we are not responsible for is what you do with the numbers on the screen. BLINK reports what Claude Code and Codex say about your own usage. It is a convenience, not a monitoring system and not advice: it can be wrong, late, or dark, because the tools it reads can change, and a dial that is out of date is a possibility rather than a fault. Do not use it as the only thing standing between you and a limit that matters. Nothing shown on the device or on this site is professional advice, and no decision that matters should rest on a dial alone.

Limits on what we owe you. If something goes wrong with the device or the order, what we owe you is to repair it, replace it, or refund it, and to cover any direct loss the law makes us responsible for. Beyond the price you paid, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss - lost work, lost time, a missed deadline, or a request that failed while a dial said otherwise.

That limit does not apply to anything the law does not let us limit, including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and it never reduces your rights under the Consumer Protection Law or the Sale Law.
